 Caravanning Queensland joins the peak industry bodies in this state for caravan dealers, manufacturers, camping suppliers, service providers, etc. as well as caravan park operators through two related associations.  These are -

The Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Queensland Ltd. is the voice of the Caravan, Manufactured Home and Camping Industry in this state. It was founded in 1964 and membership is made up predominantly of retailers, manufacturers, hirers, repairers, suppliers etc. in the caravan, camping and manufactured home industries.

The Caravan Parks Association of Queensland Inc. (incorporating the Manufactured Home Park Operators Council) is the voice of the Caravan Park and Manufactured Home Park owners and operators in this State. It was founded in the early 1960's and membership is made up of Park Operators, large and small, from all corners of the State.

On behalf of our members, we are involved in government liaison, promotion, public relations, etc and members are kept informed through regular newsletters & bulletins on all industry matters which may affect them.

The Caravan and Camping Industry Association of NSW (CCIA) is a representative body for the caravan and camping industry in New South Wales.

CCIA’s membership of some 560 is drawn from owners and operators of holiday and  tourist parks, manufactured home villages and estates, manufacturers of manufactured homes, caravans, motorhomes, retailers of manufactured homes, recreational vehicles, camping equipment and accessories, and the service industries.

The CCIA produces a number of consumer guides to help travellers explore New South Wales – whether it is in a caravan, motorhome, staying in tent or in a cabin in a holiday park.

Victorian Caravan Parks Association

 The Association was formed in 1965 to protect, promote, and advance the caravan park industry.

Since then, caravan parks have become major providers of accommodation including modern self contained cabins, powered sites for tourist caravans, and tent sites for camping enthusiasts. Many parks provide long term holiday sites - the ideal low cost holiday home alternative, while others comprise residential villages for permanent living. Caravan parks typically are located close to natural and tourist attractions and offer the relaxed opportunity to socialise in pleasant surrounds.

Constantly improving standards now see parks providing exceptional facilities for their customers, often comparable with those seen in tourist resorts.

 Serpentine Café on the Dam
