Even at a low level of 5% capacity, Lake Hume can still be used for skiing.
The waters in Lake Hume directly out from Boathaven are considered Victorian Waters, therefore a Victorian Fishing Licence is required. Anyone operating a boat also requires a Victorian Boat Licence, however these are reciprocal with NSW.
