  • All rates are quoted in Australian dollars and GST is applied.
  • Rates apply to TWO guests unless otherwise stated.  Additional persons incur an additional charge per person.
  • An adult refers to 16+ years, children refer to 3-15 years and infants refer to 0-2 years and are free of charge.

Cancellation Policy

  • One night's accommodation will be charged if less than seven (7) days’ notice of cancellation is received.
  • 50% of one night's accommodation will be charged if less than fourteen days (14) notice is received
  • Full refund will be made if cancelled greater than fourteen (14) days from arrival.
  • No refund applicable for early departure.
  • All cancellations must be in writing direct to the property

For your children’s wellbeing and safety - "Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk and children must not play on top bunk" - Work Law Health & Safety state that operators must comply with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 4220:2010.NZS 4220:2010.

The Entrance

Forster's main beach is just a stone's throw from many accommodation options, or head out of town for more secluded beaches which literally stretch for miles.

Coffs Harbour

Most famous for the giant man-made banana at the northern end of town, Coffs Harbour is one of the largest regional cities in New South Wales. Sprawling for miles up and down the coast, the area's many beaches make for perfect holidaying territory - with surfing, fishing, picnics and barbecues amongst the favourite pastimes of visitors and locals alike.

The banana plantations that fill the hills around the area make the landscape richly green and unusual. The town centre is great for city-standard shopping and is home to many recreational clubs and nightspots.

Port Macquarie

With the mouth of the wide, lazy Hastings River on one side and the sparkling blue Pacific Ocean on the other, Port Macquarie is a water lover’s paradise where surfing, water skiing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, dolphin, whale watching, scuba diving and great fishing are all available. Away from the beach, there are plenty of activities for all interests and ages including action in a high speed boat, 4WD tours, scenic river cruises and family attractions. Explore the galleries, arts and crafts centres and museums. Combine this with great shopping, good food and wine and you have everything you need for your ideal break.

Must do:

  • Take a stroll along the riverside breakwall, watch the pelicans drift by and chat to the anglers.
  • Pack a picnic or grab some local fish and chips and find yourself a shady spot beside the river.
  • Climb up to historic Tacking Point Lighthouse and sip champagne at sunset.
  • Keep an eye out for pods of dolphins as you stroll along the coastal walking tracks.
  • Take a scenic flight in a sea plane, historic tiger moth, jet fighter or microlight.
  • Dine out on some fresh Hasting River Oysters – freshly prepared at one of the riverside cafés.
  • Visit the patients of the Koala Hospital.

South West Rocks

 
South West Rocks is where the Macleay River's journey ends as it meets the sea. This beautiful area has clear aquamarine waters, tiny coves, a peaceful bay and is surrounded by lush green forest, fringed by light-coloured sands.

The area has eight beautiful beaches and Arakoon State Recreation Area. Trail Bay Goal is a must-see, first occupied in 1886, it is built from pink granite quarried nearby. Enjoy fabulous views from Smokey Cape Lighthouse opened in 1891.

Forster

Fishing

It would be hard to think of an area that offers a greater variety of fishing than is available in the Great Lakes. The region is well renowned as a fishing haven for enthusiasts and beginners alike. Please note that you are required by law to carry a NSW Fishing Licence when fishing in NSW waters. Although you can buy a recreational fishing licence to cover just your holiday period and furthermore if you're planning to fish from a charter or with a fishing guide many of the operators are already covered which means you may not need to purchase your own.
